Andrew Barclay grew up with Scottish roots that taught him two things early on: a deep respect for craftsmanship and a belief that the best things in life are meant to be shared. 

What began as a simple curiosity about wine soon grew into a lifelong passion, fueled by countless vineyard visits, late‑night tastings, and an ever‑expanding fascination with the stories behind every bottle.

Driven by that passion, Andrew set out on a mission to bring exceptional wines from all corners of the world to everyday people, not just connoisseurs. He believes great wine should not be intimidating or exclusive. It should be accessible, joyful, and carefully curated with intention and heart.

Andrew founded Loch and Barrel to channel his passion for discovery into curating wines that embody authenticity, character, and a true sense of place—while inviting customers to share in that journey. Whether it is a small family estate tucked into a hillside or an emerging region just beginning to shine, he seeks out bottles that deserve to be experienced and enjoyed by all.
